I've met a number of the staff. Very nice, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. My pup is a real pain and they do very well handling her. The facility is very clean and Jessi is the best. Also check out River Valley Pet Pantry and consider donating while you are there :)
What a fantastic and state of the art facility! Finally a clinic that truly cares about your pets, large and small. Very patient, knowledgeable staff willing to take extra time if your pet is feeling nervous or anxious too. I can see why they won best veterinary facility.
River Valley Animal Hospital is by far the BEST Veterinary hospital in the River Valley. My first visit was with a critically ill kitten, we feared would not survive, however they pulled off a miracle and saved him, he spent several days in their ICU unit, and there is not a doubt in our mind he would not have made it without Dr. Rachel Souths knowledge, compassion, and experience in emergency medicine. Their staff is exceptional, always in a great mood, kind, compassionate and caring, you can tell they LOVE their jobs. Dr. Rachel South, Dr. Trevor South and Dr. Kalah Tipton are all extraordinary Vets, extremely knowledgeable and will do everything they can to care for your pet. They have a state of the art medical facility with experience in Emergency Medicine. I love that they have a special, warm, relaxed, homey room set up when it's time to say goodbye to your pet. They are available 7 days a week with extended hours Monday - Friday and their prices for Vet care are much more reasonable than other Vets in the River Valley.
I have three dogs with very unique quirks, and it's hard to find anywhere all 3 are calm and not terrified. The staff was amazing with them! And, again, considering I have 3 big dogs, the prices are super affordable.
The staff and care at RVAH is amazing! Very genuine, sweet TRUE animal lovers. They treat your animals as if they were their own. They have been more than willing to work with me and my budget when Ive had urgent situations with one of my cats. I can not say enough good things. I would highly recommend!
